Dr. Josephine Owusu-Sakyi is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. She emphasizes preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and individualized treatment plans to support long-term health.
Dr. Owusu-Sakyi earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine (1998) and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore (2001). She served as a hospitalist at Franklin Square Hospital from 2001 to 2011, including a tenure as Associate Director of the Hospitalist Group (2005–2011). During this time, she actively participated in hospital committees, including the Peer Review Committee, Quality Council, and Performance Improvement Committee.
Before joining Padder Health Services, Dr. Owusu-Sakyi founded and managed an internal medicine practice in Elkridge, Maryland. She provides care in both English and Twi, helping serve a diverse patient population with excellence and compassion.
