Dr. Salman Shafiq is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine physician with over 30 years of clinical experience caring for diverse patient populations. He specializes in the management of complex medical patients with multiple co-morbidities and is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Dr. Shafiq earned his M.B.B.S. degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan and completed his Residency Training at Jersey City Medical Center, New Jersey (1993–1996), where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. Throughout his career, he has practiced as a Primary Care Physician and Hospitalist across multiple U.S. states—including New Jersey, Louisiana, Minnesota, and Missouri—as well as internationally in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine and is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, allowing him to provide personalized care to a diverse patient population.
